Tianmen Mountain’s 99 Bends is the official track provider and has exclusively opened the "Road to Heaven" for Hitch Open World AI Championships, making it the only AI racing event granted access to this legendary course.
Tianmen Mountain’s 99 Bends, known as the "Road to Heaven," is one of
the most extreme and breathtaking mountain roads in the world, making it the ultimate test for AI racing.
Stretching 10.77 km with a 1,100m elevation gain, featuring 99 tight hairpin turns and gradients up to 37
degrees, it is regarded as "Asia's Nurburgring", pushing autonomous driving to its absolute
limits.
While Germany’s Nürburgring Nordschleife is famed for its complex turns and high-speed
straights, Tianmen Mountain presents an even greater challenge—steeper inclines, continuous switchbacks, and
unpredictable terrain. Here, AI race cars must master extreme elevation shifts, high-speed cornering, and
precision control, setting the stage for record-breaking achievements in autonomous racing.
More than
just a race track, Tianmen Mountain is a proving ground for AI-driven mobility. This challenge will redefine
the boundaries of AI racing, making history as the ultimate intersection of technology, competition, and
nature’s most formidable terrain.
